With over 18 years of experience, Nicolae C. Pampu combines his expertise in biomedical technology and engineering research with his proficiency in monitoring and measurement technologies. He has led international teams of engineers in envisioning, designing, and developing hardware and software products that address business challenges by sensing and recording real-world events, generating data streams that can be monitored, stored, analyzed, and acted upon.

Nicolae holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in the analysis and processing of neural signals. He has been an active member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) since 2018, contributing to the advancement of engineering in society.

Claudiu M. Pampu brings over 20 years of experience in business development across various sectors. For more than 17 years, he has been an entrepreneur specializing in business consulting and management systems.

He has successfully led consulting projects aimed at improving processes, management practices, and overall performance in both the private and public sectors. Throughout his career, Claudiu has collaborated with clients from the medical field, public administration, government entities, multinational corporations, and start-ups.

Mihai Pascadi, Associate Professor at Bucharest Polytechnic University, brings over 30 years of expertise in project management and leadership, in international companies specializing in information technology.

After working for 6 years in systems architecture design and Professional Services management, over the next 4 years he managed Compaq Computers Romania (now HP) as Country Manager, driving business growth and market leadership. As a former Principal Scientific Researcher and Head of the Artificial Vision Laboratory at the Automation Design Institute in Bucharest, Mihai led pioneering innovation projects for five years.
Dynamic, creative, positive, very energetic, and accountable, Mihai likes working with people and facilitating their performance and initiative, strongly support continuous process improvement and innovation toward simplification and excellence (as defined by standards) and encourage the birth of innovative / imaginative, agile solutions. This approach was key to success over more than 20 years of organizational and process improvement projects.

With a PhD in Business and Managerial Economics, Mihai combines academic excellence with a proven track record of successfully implemented projects and a deep understanding of the real-world impact of cutting-edge technologies. This supports the organizational framework needed to drive innovative research and development projects at Envelopers.

Scientific Advisory Board


Our Scientific Advisory Board drives innovation and excellence in engineering, specializing in cutting-edge hardware and software R&D projects. We evaluate emerging opportunities and ensure our solutions stay ahead of market demands, transforming visionary ideas into groundbreaking technologies that redefine the future.

Raul C. Mureșan is a computer engineer turned brain scientist. He is passionate about applying discoveries in brain function in advanced applications based on neural technology. With more than 17 years of experience in research, he is the president of the Transylvanian Institute of Neuroscience (TINS), the partner of Neurodynamics. Raul received his PhD in Computer Science in 2005 and has performed his post-doctoral studies at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In 2018 he received the title of scientist grade I (CS-I), equivalent to a full professorship.

During his research Raul built early models of object recognition using deep learning in large spiking-neuron architectures and has developed innovative methods for image processing and pattern recognition based on neural technology. He is the founder of several private research institutes in Romania and an entrepreneur driving brain science into innovative applications.

Andrei Dragomir is a Senior Research Fellow at the N.1 Institute for Health/National University of Singapore and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Houston. Andrei’s expertise is in the area of cognitive assessment for brain-machine interaction using wearable sensors, particularly electroencephalography (EEG). Further research includes studying the neural underpinning of sensory perception ranging from tactile and pain perception to olfaction.

In pursuit of this goal, Andrei has developed methodologies for investigating brain functional connectivity using machine learning and network science. Andrei is a member of the IEEE EMBS Technical Committee on Neuroengineering and has served on the scientific and organizing committees of several conferences and summer schools, such as the IEEE EMBS Neural Engineering Conference, the International Summer School on Biocomplexity, Biodesign and Bioinnovation and the Advanced Study Institute on Global Healthcare Challenges.

Bogdan Neamțu is a physician and engineer with a strong foundation in biostatistics and computational modeling. With over 15 years of research experience, he has made significant contributions to the fields of pediatrics and data science.

Currently, Bogdan leads the Research Department in Pediatrics at the Pediatric Clinical Hospital from Sibiu and collaborates closely with the Faculty of Medicine, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (2011) and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (2014), as well as an MS in Biostatistics from the University of Louisville and Computational Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University.

Bogdan’s research integrates medicine, engineering, and data science, focusing on using advanced computational techniques to analyze complex clinical datasets. He has published extensively in prestigious journals, addressing topics such as neonatal brain injury outcomes, pediatric brain lesion segmentation, and large-scale analysis of COVID-19 patient data. His work employs cutting-edge methods, including clustering algorithms, dimensionality reduction, and neural networks, to uncover meaningful patterns in high-dimensional data.

As an educator and researcher, Bogdan has developed innovative approaches for applying statistical learning and data mining techniques in healthcare. His ongoing projects include the development of predictive models for pediatric outcomes and exploring the intersection of static and temporal data using LSTM neural networks. Bogdan’s work exemplifies his commitment to advancing biomedical research and applying computational intelligence to solve complex medical challenges.

Laura E. Gligor is a lecturer at "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia and the National Institute for Health Services Management. She has 18 years of experience in healthcare practice and nine years as a nursing educator. Her academic background comprises a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences and a MS in Healthcare Management. Laura's research focuses on improving nursing documentation through standardized nursing language. She has published in renowned journals on topics such as nursing documentation, nursing diagnosis, and nursing theories. Additionally, her work explores the integration of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing documentation accuracy, decision-making, and patient care. With extensive experience in both clinical practice and nursing education, she possesses a deep understanding of healthcare and academic systems.

In addition to her teaching career, she has been involved in high-impact professional projects, most notably her participation in the "Iraqi Freedom" operation, where she served as a charge nurse within the Medical Task Force 31 Hospital.  Her exceptional contributions to the field have been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including the Army Commendation Medal, issued by the U.S. Department of the Army, for her professional excellence during the "Iraqi Freedom" mission, the Honorary Lifetime Membership from Task Force 31 Medical Hospital, Field Hospital "Pack of Wolves" and the Sanitary Merit Medal, awarded by the President of Romania for her remarkable achievements and outstanding professionalism in carrying out critical missions.
